Toby and Matt

Toby’s book is now available in French: Le Poker Pour Les Chipies. I learned how to play poker from reading the English version, but I got Ds in French in college, so this may not help me much. C’est dommage!

Update: Toby did some research and found out that “Chipies” can be translated to “bitches.” Poker for the Bitches, bitches!

Second Update: Ok, fine. It can also mean brat, or annoying child.

Nothing makes me feel more at ease with doing my banking online than this little animated gif of the letter C that tells me what’s new at Commerce Bank…

Now I just wish there was some way for me to tell when the Web site is under construction. Maybe some sort of play on a road sign with a little guy digging through a pile of money or something.

This makes me sad… “A 6-year-old Park Slope girl is facing a $300 fine from the city for doing what city kids have been doing for decades: drawing a pretty picture with common sidewalk chalk.”
