I havent tried the peanut butter one but I would have if they had it (a fav combo of mine too – do you remember dryer’s dreamery version? was heaven in a bowl. Only Coldstone Creamery really gets it right now). But I can say the Maxx Java mashup I think its called is TO DIE FOR!!! Perfect combo of yummy coffee ice cream and chocolate. Everybite has goodies in it. Sorry to hear about your lack of pb. I would be pissed too. Hope they sent you a free case and your money back. Maybe it was a bunk container. Even machines screw up sometimes.

Do Erin and Yes Maam work for Edy’s? I agree with Mr. Matt. I just got the cookie dough. Given the insanely hyped up graphics on the container, I thought this sucker would be 90% cookie dough 10% ice cream…no luck.

Sorry Edy’s (including you Erin and “Yes Ma’aam”), despite your alluring packaging I’ll take Ben & Jerry’s any day.

I definately have to agree with the comment left by the above person. I just purchased some the other night and while making dinner tonight I decided to steal a taste. After removing the lid, I could definately see the PB ribbon which happens to be my favorite. The first bite had lots of delicious peanut butter and by the looks of it, so will the second. My guess is, you got a bunk container (which has DEFINATELY happened to me in the past with other brands) that may have been at the end of the PB cycle of filling the container. I would recommend contacting Edy’s for a refund. No one should have to go through that!

I disagree with the author of this article. I love Edy’s Maxx Peanut Butter Chunk and I’m craving it right now for dessert. I’m trying to find their website and I came across this article and I had to briefy state why I disagree with it.
